Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi Marries Jionni LaValle
The MTV reality star exchanged vows with the father of her two children.
— -- Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is a married woman.
The "Snooki & JWOWW" wed her longtime boyfriend Jionni LaValle today, the reality TV personality tweeted, sharing what she called "the first photo from my wedding today," a shot of her in her wedding dress.
Polizzi, 27, married LaValle, also 27, at St. Rose of Lima, a Catholic church in East Hanover, N.J., with the reception afterwards at The Venetian banquet hall in Garfield, People magazine reported.
Polizzi, 27, began dating LaValle, also 27, in 2010, when she was still starring in the reality series "Jersey Shore." They announced their engagement in 2012, along with the news that they were expecting their first child. Their son, Lorenzo, was born that August and their daughter, Giovanna, came along two years later.
"I was so excited. I looked at Jionni's face and he turned white," she told ABC News of learning that they were expecting a daughter. "He's very excited but, of course, nervous like every father having a daughter is. They're more complicated!"
In the midst of juggling two children and a reality TV show, Polizzi also found the time to plan her Great Gatsby-themed wedding. She's had her dress since May.
"Can't wait for the big day to show you all the dress I did pick out!" she gushed at the time.
