Obama and others took to social media Thursday to share sweet photos with the family and praise others making this world a better place each and every day.

"From the Obama family to yours, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving full of joy and gratitude," the 44th President of the United States wrote, sharing a picture of his family.

Just because astronauts are in space doesn't mean they don't want to share a message of thanks!

Actor Vincent D'Onofrio asked that everyone took "a moment today and just BE."

Rap icon Missy Elliott also got in the mix, as did wrestling legend Ric Flair.

And last but certainly not least, rock legend and Beatles drummer Ringo Starr.
