March 14, 2014 -- After "Little People, Big World" stars Matt and Amy Roloff announced they were separating, some people accused the couple of staging a split for ratings.

Amy Roloff took to Twitter to say that the rumor just isn't true.

"I don't do stuff especially personal things for ratings," she wrote. "That I can be clear of."

In a preview for the new season of their TLC reality TV show, Matt Roloff explained that he'd moved out of the house in which he and Amy raised their four children, twins Jeremy and Zack, 23, Molly, 20 and Jacob, 17, because he never "felt at home" there.

"Amy and I stuck it out for years when maybe we shouldn't have," he said. "Something needed to change."

Still, Amy is hopeful that they'll be able to fix their marriage.

"It was his choice to leave," she tweeted to a fan. "We'll see if we can.. stay working together for the farm, kids."
