    Travis Barker was caught on tape threatening paparazzi outside a Calabasas, Calif., restaurant. According to TMZ.com, the photographers claim one of their phones was stolen. Barker responded to the incident on his Twitter page, writing, "Paparazzi cried like young girls when it was no longer three of them against me and my kids. Didn't they remember threatening me an hour ago? What happened to the tough guys with the cameras? It was gonna be a fair fight."

    Apparently, Mel Gibson's not afraid to get physical. Gibson and his pregnant girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, were partying at the new Los Angeles club Playhouse July 29, 2009 when a tabloid reporter posing as a fan tried to snap a picture of them. After the reporter's attempts to capture Gibson on camera failed, she sent in a male friend to do the dirty work. The actor allegedly ripped the shirt of the wannabe paparazzo, who then reportedly left the club to file a battery report with the LAPD.

    Rapper Kanye West was arrested at Los Angeles airport Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, on felony vandalism charges after allegedly sparring with members of the paparazzi. He and his bodyguard were released the next day after posting the $20,000 bail. West was charged for a misdemeanor rather than a felony. <a href="http://abcnews.go.com/video/playerIndex?id=5783332">Video of the altercation</a> shows the rapper, clad in a gray hooded sweatshirt, smashing what appears to be camera equipment on the ground. A paparazzo began taking pictures of the "Police Academy" star, but the red-faced actor was apparently not too pleased with the photog's attention. Guttenberg unleashed some angry facial expressions and fist-waving gestures for the photographer to snap up.

After she screamed expletives and hurled her bag toward a photographer, airport security intervened.

    Good Charlotte musician Joel Madden faced police questioning Saturday night after a photographer said he struck her left breast, resulting in a welt. Madden was leaving L.A. restaurant Mr. Chow with girlfriend Nicole Richie, who had been admitted to a hospital for dehydration the previous day.

This isn't the first time Madden's shown his aggressive side -- an infamous video shows the Good Charlotte singer going crazy on Crazy Town lead singer "Shifty Shellshock" at a party.

    Actor Paul Bettany and his Oscar-winning wife, Jennifer Connelly, who live in New York, usually keep to themselves on the city's streets, assiduously avoiding the paparazzi. However, a brazen Bettany emerged from the Waverly Inn Oct. 2007 one night in a playful mood and offered a few words to the pack of photographers. It may have been because he had a little extra protection: a pair of boxing gloves. While Bettany didn't use them on the paparazzi as many celebs might have, he did "knock out" a photographer's camera, according to TMZ.com.
