June 27 -- Last month, Sean Combs was comparing his love life to that of legendary crooner Frank Sinatra now the rapper implies that he's got Frank's acting chops, too.

Even though he's barely begun his acting career, Combs, sometimes known as Puff Daddy and P. Diddy, says he expects to win not one, but two Oscars in his lifetime.

Speaking to Access Hollywood Tuesday night, the large-livin' Combs said, according to USA Today, "You know, I don't want to come off cocky or arrogant, but I'm going to really [work hard] to be the best actor that I can be and I've got to set my goals and my dreams high. And then we can play this [interview] back the night when I win my first one. And we can just be like, 'I really worked hard for it.'" What is it that "goeth before a fall," Puffy? Oh, yeah: pride.

Combs' limited acting experience so far includes the stereotypical role of a New York mobster in Made, for Swingers cool cat Jon Favreau, which hits theaters July 13, and the role of a death row inmate in the upcoming Monster's Ball.

For the record, the small group of singers-turned-actors to win Academy Awards consists most notably of old-school types like Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Barbra Streisand, and, of course, Cher.
