— -- Rachel Bilson is a mom!

The "Hart of Dixie" actress, and her longtime boyfriend, Hayden Christensen, both 33, welcomed their first child, daughter Briar Rose, on Oct. 29, her rep confirmed in a statement to ABC News.

"Both mother and baby are healthy and doing well," her rep said.

News of the birth was first reported by People.

The baby's name has a whimsical back story: It's a reference to Princess Aurora from "Sleeping Beauty."

The couple never officially confirmed their pregnancy, though Bilson's co-star Jaime King revealed that she "was freaking out" when she heard her pal was pregnant.

"I knew she wanted a baby, she wanted it so badly," King told Us Weekly in May. "She's going to be in such good hands. She's in a really good space. I'm really thrilled for her."

Bilson's other co-star, McKaley Miller, revealed that the couple was expecting a baby girl.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan back in May 2013, the "The O.C." alum gushed, "I definitely have family on the brain. Having kids is something I want to see in my future. I hope."

"Star Wars" actor Christensen and Bilson met in 2007 on the set of "Jumper." The low-key couple got engaged in December 2008, then called it off in August 2010, but reconciled three months later.
