Rebel Wilson Isn't Funny All the Time
Actress says she's not always like her character Fat Amy in real life.

"Most people who know me know I’m not switched on all the time. I don’t like to be like that in real life, because it’s draining," Wilson confesses to Elle Australia's April issue. "If I’m how I am as Fat Amy all ...d ay -- I can be sometimes, but I’d be a psycho if I was like that 24/7. You gotta chill out and just be normal for a bit, I say."
Normal for the native Australian is hanging out in T-shirts and flats.
"In my real life I tend to wear T-shirts with cartoon characters on them. I love T-shirts!" the comedian, 29, told the magazine, adding, "I can’t wear high heels. I suck at wearing high heels."
Wilson traded her T-shirt for a pearl-collared shirt and pink jacket for the cover of Elle, where she turns on the glamour, using some of the model moves she learned from Tyra Banks.
"I never thought I’d be the type of girl who’d be doing, like, fashion shoots," Wilson said. "I used to watch some of the reality shows about models and then, weirdly, now I try to incorporate into my fashion shoots the skills I learnt from watching those shows. It’s like, 'Thanks, Tyra,' cause you’ve given me like all the cool tips. Like how to smile with your eyes."
Meanwhile, Wilson has become a role model for "bigger" girls and women, turning her weight into a positive with her character Fat Amy.
"I took something that was seen as a disadvantage – no one thinks, if you're fat, that you're going to be an actress and everyone's going to love you – and turned it into a positive," she told Australia's site Daily Life in January.
Wilson, Anna Kendrick and all the Barden Bellas will be back May 15 with "Pitch Perfect 2."
