— -- On Friday, Rory Feek shared a sweet picture of his wife Joey with the couple's daughter Indiana.

What made the photo so notable is that Joey, who has been bedridden for some time, was "out of bed" playing with her little girl.

"It's 60 [degrees] and sunny outside today and even brighter inside," Rory wrote on the couple's official Facebook page. "Joey's out of bed teaching signs to Indy on the floor."

Joey Feek, 40, was diagnosed with cervical cancer last May and stopped treatment in October. For the past few weeks she has been under hospice care in her home in Alexandria, Indiana, according to Rory's website "This Life I Live."

"Though now, she can no longer get out of bed -- she is so sharp and clear and her pain, for the most part, is so under control by the medicine that talking to her -– you would think she’s her normal self. Thinner. Much thinner," Rory, 49, wrote late last month.

In November, Joey spoke to the Tennessean about how she is "at peace" with the time doctors say she has left.

"God decided for me that my job of singing for people down here is my legacy, and he needs me singing up there. That’s how I look at it," she told the newspaper.
