— -- They say opposites attract, and that's apparently true for Sarah Silverman and "Masters of Sex" actor Michael Sheen, who have been dating for more than a year.

"We like almost none of the same things," Silverman said on Wednesday's "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Silverman said that Sheen loves magic, while she doesn't care for it.

"I like real magic like sunsets or how I can move my hands using only my mind, but I mean magic isn't real. It’s not real," she said, laughing.

"I just feel like if you think that magicians are really magic, you should maybe not be able to vote," she quipped.

Still, their separate interests aren't keeping them from walking down the aisle. Marriage equality is. On "Ellen," Silverman confirmed that she has no plans to wed until all LGBT couples can marry in the U.S.

Silverman added that even if that did happen, she'd still be hesitant to walk down the aisle.

"I don't know that I would want to get the government involved in my love, personally," she added.

Silverman and Sheen have been dating since December 2013.
