March 20, 2014 -- Like a lot of mothers, Shakira, who has a 1-year-old son, is trying to figure out the best way to balance her personal and professional lives.

However, that's not always easy to do.

"I'm trying to work out how I'm going to do my next tour," she told The Sun newspaper. "I miss him when I'm away and the baby is so little. I sometimes feel guilty."

The "Voice" judge, 37, who began dating Barcelona soccer star Gerard Piqué in 2010, added that her new family has profoundly affected her work. In fact, her new album, which debuts later this month, features a love song about him called "23," the age he was when they met. (He is now 27.)

"I was worried people would think I was a cradle snatcher!" she said.

The song also marks the singing debut of their son, Milan, who can be heard in the background.

"That was so magical because I believe they were both my destiny. I was singing and he was listening," she said. "Once I'd finished, he started to join in with his baby voice. It was so cute."
