Spice Girls 'Really Trying' to Make Reunion Happen Next Year

— -- A Spice Girls reunion is looking more likely.

Singer Mel B, or Scary Spice as she was known, told Billboard magazine that she and her fellow Spice Girls are trying to work out the details for a reunion.

"Once we sort everything out, we'll make an announcement, but right now we're just figuring it all out," the "America's Got Talent" judge, 40, said. "Next year is our 20th anniversary so we're really just trying to make sure something happens."

Till then, she pleaded with fans to be patient.

"As soon as we figure it out we'll tell every detail, but until then there's not much to say," Mel B said.

Even her children are excited about the possibility.

"They know we're possibly going on tour next year so they get to meet all the other girls," Mel B said. "So it's lovely."

The last time the five singers, which include Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham, performed together on stage was at the London Olympics in August 2012.

"I remember things like it was yesterday and we're still really good friends, but it definitely still feels like we've done stuff a long time ago because music has changed so much," Mel B. said about the 20 years that have passed since the group first formed. "But we had so much fun and we did the Olympics a few years ago. We're going to have fun if everything works out -- which hopefully it will -- for next year."
