Sound Bites: Lars Ulrich, Fatboy Slim, Crystal Method

May 22 -- Lars' Little Drummer BoyMetallica's Lars Ulrich, 37, became a father for the second time on Sunday, May 6, according to The Associated Press. The drummer's wife, Skylar, gave birth to the couple's second son, Layne Ulrich, in San Francisco. The Ulrichs' other young son, Myles, will turn 3 in August.

Fatboy Slim, Crystal Method Headline Creamfields USAU.K. megaclub Cream is bringing its legendary Creamfields spectacular across the Atlantic for a set of special U.S. events this fall. Among the artists headlining at both Creamfields New York, at Riverhead, N.Y., on Sept. 1, and Creamfields Las Vegas in the Nevada desert on Sept. 29, are Fatboy Slim, Crystal Method, Orbital, Stereo MC's, Uberzone, and Richie Hawtin. The latter will also feature the first-ever live West Coast date by Basement Jaxx.
