September 7 -- Comely red-carpet mainstays Jennifer Aniston, Charlize Theron, and Heather Locklear lead off People's annual list of best-dressed women, while stylin' dudes Samuel L. Jackson, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Kevin Spacey get shout-outs for their sartorial splendor.

Also making the ranks of the best-dressed are royal Prince William, tuxedoed man-about-town Pierce Brosnan, and George Clooney, whom the magazine's editors previously drooled over as "The Sexiest Man Alive" and "Most Eligible Bachelor."

Teen music divas Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, who usually get no respect from the mag for their navel-baring ways, ended up on separate lists: It seems that Britney rates as "best," while Christina's the "worst" at personal style.

New Category: 'Least Dressed'Speaking of baring, bodacious rapper Lil' Kim, who has a penchant for appearing at awards shows in revealing dresses with only a pasty on one breast, topped both the Worst Dressed list and the new Least Dressed list.

The new skin-centric category also recognizes X-Men's Halle Berry and Jennifer Lopez, whose barely there green Versace number has practically reached the iconic level of Marilyn Monroe's white halter dress.

Besides dissing music divas, People's judges also rapped the knuckles of TV actresses Portia de Rossi, Lara Flynn Boyle, Lucy Liu, and Jennifer Love Hewitt for their lack of fashion sense.

Boos for BruceBruce Willis was the only guy to end up on the worst-dressed list, so designated for his ill-fitting suits Bruce, surely you can afford a tailor! Rounding out the fashion victim list were Lauren Holly, Renée Zellweger, and Bebe Neuwirth.

Among the judges were rapper Sisqo (now there's a fashion-savvy guy if ever there was one) and droll game show host Ben Stein.

Pam, Dennis, Queen Rate Among the WorstSince it is a new millennium, People also took the time to rank the all-time best- and worst-dressed. Among the best were such style mavens as Princess Diana, Grace Kelly, Fred Astaire, Coco Chanel, and Cary Grant all among the dearly departed.
