— -- Teresa Giudice sent her first tweet Sunday since being released from federal prison last month.

The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star had a message for fans.

"Wishing everyone a healthy and happy New Year from our family to yours!" Giudice, 43, wrote, complete with a photo of her family in front of a Christmas tree.

Before Sunday's message, Giudice hadn't tweeted since September.

Giudice was released from the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, on Dec. 23 after serving more than 11 months for tax fraud. She was originally sentenced to 15 months after pleading guilty last year.

The reality TV star may be cherishing these moments with her family since it will be short-lived. Her husband Joe Giudice, 43, who also pleaded guilty to tax fraud, is scheduled to begin his 41-month prison sentence in March.
