— -- Say it three times -- you know what will happen, "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!"

It's been almost 30 years since the acclaimed movie hit theaters in 1988 and now director Tim Burton is teasing a possible sequel.

When asked by IGN about a sequel starring Michael Keaton, he said, "There’s only one Beetlejuice, and that’s Michael."

"There is a script, and I would love to work with him again. I think there is now a better chance than ever," he said. "I miss that character. There’s something that’s cathartic and amazing about it. I think it’s closer than ever, so that's good.”

Keaton told MTV News in February that if Burton was to direct the movie again, he was in.

“I’ve e-mailed Tim a couple of times, talked to the writer a couple of times, but all really, really preliminary stuff,” Keaton said. “I always said that’s the one thing I’d like to do again, if I ever did anything again. ... But it kind of required Tim to be involved some way or another ... Now it looks like he is involved in it and without giving too much away we’ve talked to each other, and e-mailed each other, and if he’s in, it’s going to be hard not to be in.”

Fingers crossed!
