Tom Hiddleston Responds to Rumors That Taylor Swift Relationship Is a Publicity Stunt

— -- It all happened so fast: Taylor Swift and her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris split and weeks later the singer was photographed kissing Tom Hiddleston.
The actor, who was recently nominated for an Emmy Award for his role in AMC's "The Night Manager," said that despite their relationship moving quickly -- and being very much in the public eye -- he's involved in a real relationship with the singer.
When asked if the romance was a "publicity stunt" by The Hollywood Reporter, Hiddleston, 35, said he's "very happy" with Swift.
"Well, um. How best to put this? That notion is -- look, the truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we're very happy. Thanks for asking. That's the truth. It's not a publicity stunt."
Swift, 26, and Hiddleston reportedly met in May at the famed Met Gala in New York City. Since then, the two have been heavily photographed doing everything from making out on a beach near the singer's Rhode Island home to meeting each others' parents.
