'Vampire Diaries' Star Nina Dobrev: 'I Need to Get a Steady Boyfriend'

— -- She's been single since splitting from her "Vampire Diaries" co-star Ian Somerhalder last year, but Nina Dobrev says she wants a steady man to get all the tabloids off her back.

"It is funny 'cause I try not to read any of that kind of stuff, but when you start getting text messages from your friends with a link to something and they'll be like, 'Oh my God, are you really dating this person!' and I'll be like, 'Um, I talked to him last night for a second,' or, 'Yeah, I saw him at this party,' and all the sudden you're dating somebody," she told HuffPost Live earlier this week. "Especially after Comic-Con, apparently, I was dating like 10 people. I had a busy weekend."

With all the rumors floating around, she has a simple solution.

"Honestly, I need to get a steady boyfriend so that people can stop speculating," she said.

Dobrev, 25, added that all of her friends are texting her at once when rumors come out and it's basically "a pain in my butt."

"My thumbs are starting to hurt, you know," she said. "I typically don't comment about my personal life and I'm trying to keep it that way."
