Hi ever won this is Henderson Hughes with ABC news lives. I'm just outside Le Havre France where the US women's national team and preparing for their third and final game of the group stage here at the World Cup. That game will be tomorrow at 3 PM eastern against Sweden. And they allowed media access to the first few minutes of practice today as good again to see US on the field and some form. And there's a recent history between these two teens on a big stage back in 2016. Sweden actually beat the United States in the quarterfinals at the Olympics. Knocking them out of that turner meant so. US is hoping to make some amends for that. Regardless of the result tomorrow however the US has already clinched a spot in the knockout round. Which follows the group stage it's essentially a sixteen team single elimination tournament. What we don't know is who they're gonna play yet and that ran a sixteen. A win or tie tomorrow against Sweden and we know they'll face Spain. If they lose however. Though either face Canada or the Netherlands so. Again. We know the US is advance to the next phase of this tournament. We just don't know who they're gonna play yet we'll know I'm at the end of at the end of Thursday night local time. Afternoon in the United States. Gone by recent history would be surprised if this game is as easy as the first two games forty United States so. Should be very ged competition and a good test for them. As they prepare for the next phase of this tournament. Until next time mrs. Henderson he's with ABC news life.
