— -- Kid Rock just gave one of his biggest fans the best night of his life.

Dan McGurk had been sending letters and videos to Rock, trying to get him to show up at his birthday party in Detroit, according to the Detroit Free Press. Looks like all the hard work paid off.

Rock, 43, surprised the 30-year-old man, who has Down syndrome, in a video posted earlier this week.

The clip starts off at the local Clarkston Union restaurant with McGurk still talking about how much he wants Kid Rock to be at his birthday party. What happens next is something this fan will never forget.

McGurk, wearing a Kid Rock shirt, is singing Rock's hit "Bawitdaba" and then after the cake comes out, Rock walks in and starts singing "Happy Birthday." The look on McGurk's face is one of shock and total joy. It really is one of the best videos you'll see in a quite a while.

Rock gives him a hug and then McGurk says, "My wish is that the American Bada -- is here!"

The two sit down together and chat, plus Rock offers up a few choice gifts like a hat, a signed limited edition picture and a guitar, which Rock signs in front of him.

"Yeah you did!" McGurk said when Rock asked him if he was surprised.

Check it out.
