Cruella
Oscar winner Emma Stone stars in an all-new live-action film about the rebellious early days of one of cinemas most notorious and fashionable villains.
The Craig Gillespie-directed film tells the story of a young woman living in London in the '70s, Estella (Emma Stone), and how she comes to be one of Disney's most well-known villains, Cruella de Vil.
In the film's synopsis, Estella is described as "a clever and creative" aspiring fashion designer who makes friends with some young thieves with whom she takes over the street of London.
"One day, Estella’s flair for fashion catches the eye of the Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is devastatingly chic and terrifyingly haute," the synopsis reads. "But their relationship sets in motion a course of events and revelations that will cause Estella to embrace her wicked side and become the raucous, fashionable and revenge-bent Cruella."
The baroness is played by award-winning British actress Emma Thompson.
The film also stars Joel Fry, Paul Walter Hauser, Emily Beecham, Kirby Howell-Baptiste and Mark Strong.
The "Cruella Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" and the "Cruella Original Score" album both feature a new song from Florence + The Machine, "Call me Cruella."
A subscription to Disney+ costs $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year, and a bundle consisting of Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ costs $13.99 per month.
