I cannot wait but now cannot wait for "Pop news" with Lara Spencer, everybody. Good morning, everyone. We're going to begin with more Oscar news so two weeks away we know the nominees, we know some of the presenters and this morning the academy has announced the live performances that we'll all get to enjoy during Hollywood's big night. Representing this year's nominated songs, Mr. Elton John or should I say sir Elton John. He'll perform from "Rocketman." Idina Menzel and Aurora will sting. Randy Newman will perform his song "I can't let you throw yourself away" from "Toy story 4." Miss Chrissy metz will sing "I'm standing with you" from "Breakthrough" and Cynthia areva will sing. You can see them when the 92nd annual academy awards airs right here, ABC, Sunday February 9th. It's going to be a great show. Our whole show will be there bringing it all to you. Check it out. Also in the news this morning, first there was "Mean girls" the movie. Now Tina fey is going to morph the two and make "Mean girls" the movie musical. She's doing it. Tina wrote both of the 2004 film and recent stage production and will write this adaptation and says it's been incredibly gratifying to see how much they have meant to audiences saying, quote, I've spent 16 years with these characters. They are my marvel universe and I love them dearly. No details on the production has been released. Tina, we love them too. Very excited about that. That's going to be great. Yeah. It's working.
