Transcript for How Harry, Markle cope with the spotlight
The spotlight is burning bright on the Royals. Something Meghan Markle has had to get used to since her relationship with Harry became public. Something we've seen recently as her father as we know makes news so let's go back to James Longman for more on this side of the story. Reporter: The streets are getting busier, 5,000 journalists are accredited for the special event. That pressure of the press may be difficult to deal with. This is the last glimpse of the royal couple together before they walk down the aisle at St. George's chapel in Windsor driving into the thousand-year-old castle for rehearsal, outside a preview of the royal celebration complete with a practice run, the couple's horse drawn carriage. It's not just trying it right, it's trying to get it right in front of the world's cameras. This is live. This is for real and, you know, you're step nothing a drama that is part of the history of the world. So, the pressure is on. Is there a sense maybe that the palace hasn't really done enough to protect Meghan and her extended family to try to prepare all these people for this huge amount of tabloid speculation? The mother lives in L.A. The father lives in Mexico. I'm not sure where the half brothers and sisters are but they're clearly making noise. It's obvious that the markles did need more support because how would they know? Reporter: I sat down for tea with imogen Lloyd Webber, an authority on royal life and an American who married into British aristocracy. She's had Paparazzi around her because of "Suits" but I think this level that's happening this week, it was distressing, as a bride it's already stressful getting married and the last thing you want to happen is to have your family make things bubble up. No matter what Meghan faces she's going to have Harry to guide her and he's had his fair share of attention. I'm sure they'll make a great team. Robin. All right, James, thanks very much. We'll welcome back imogen Lloyd Webber. Thank you for joining us again. We heard about Meghan's relationship with the Paparazzi. What is Harry's relationship with the Paparazzi. Both William and Harry have a smiling hatred of the media. They believe that the media helped kill their mother. You watch that documentary of Harry talking about how the Paparazzi were taking photographs of his mother while she lay dying. It's incredibly distressing. That being said they're royal and part of being royal is putting/spotlight often good causes and need the media for that but it's a tricky relationship, absolutely. And they did both he and Meghan wonderful in staying out of the spotlight for so long. There was speculation about their relationship but we didn't know. The public did not know for quite some time and I know this may be surprising, this is relatively an intimate wedding compared to other royal weddings. Will they be able, though, to maintain that once she officially becomes part of the royal family? You're right. For six months none of us had any idea. They kept it under wraps. They'll follow William and Kate here. William and Kate are very much out and about in public and then behind closed doors and don't have much access to George and Charlotte and don't see them out and about so William is protective of Kate and his family and Harry will be absolutely the same with Meghan, especially after this week. In order to keep it as private as they have and to keep it under wraps like they have, they need to have great friends who help them with that. So who are some of these friends? I think just look at the parents of the page boys and bridesmaids and tells you all you need to know about the inner circle. The mulroneys have three children part of the wedding. Jessica Mulroney actually hid Harry and Meghan if their town house when news break that they got together so you've got them and jasper dyer who is park -- mark dyer's son. She has tight -- such a tight circle of friends. She did not want 0 offend anybody so didn't make a maid of honor. None of the friends from the "Suits" area have not tight-knit circle there. All right, imogen, we really appreciate it. Coming up, everybody, new clues about what Meghan Markle may wear down the aisle. "Gma's" countdown to the royal wedding is sponsored by ??? ???
