Still trying to figure that out. A little bit of both. First, big news for actor director producer extraordinaire Tyler Perry. The academy announcing he will receive one of the highest honors at this year's ceremony, the Jean hersholt humanitarian award saying Tyler's cultural influence extends far beyond his work as a filmmaker. Perry has done so much for his community, especially during the pandemic, from buying groceries for thousands of seniors at over 70 stores in New Orleans and Atlanta back in April to giving away 5,000 boxes of groceries and gift cards to Atlanta residents ahead of Thanksgiving. Needless to say the honor is very well-deserved. The 93rd academy awards are set to air on April 25th right here on ABC. Of course, that is later in the year than normal because of the pandemic. Next up, no red carpet, no problem for Anne Hathaway. The star bringing Hollywood level glitz right from her backyard posting these sparkling metallic poolside looks on Instagram to celebrate the -- wow -- virtual premiere of her comedy "Locked down."
