The adoption with a whole kindergarten class behind it and Steve osunsami has more. Good morning to you, Steve. Make us smile. Reporter: Good morning to you, Michael. There are 36 children in kept county, Michigan, a place I know well who are spending their first day with their forever families. This is one of those stories that shows one of the misdemeanor places where happiness lives in the hearts of children on adoption day. This is the moment that 5-year-old Michael Clark had been waiting for for as long as he can remember. He is a very active and silly, silly kindergartner. Reporter: It was adoption day at the Kent county courthouse in Grand Rapids, Michigan and incited all of his classmates to join him for his big moment. My maim is lily and I love Michael. Reporter: It was kindergarten strong with their paper hearts. My name is Steven and Michael is my best friend. Reporter: As they witnessed his foster parents legally and officially welcome Michael into their family. It is ordered, Michael, that your forever mom and dad will be David Andrew Eaton and Andrea Louise Melvin. Reporter: The kids from his school making an especially powerful moment -- One, two, three. Reporter: His new father had trouble keeps it together. The workers there have been amazing. And I love my daddy. Wow, I -- I love my daddy so much. This is just too much. This is just too much. Yeah, it's been amazing obviously how supportive -- I love my daddy too much. You love him too much? Reporter: These are new pictures this morning from their first night as a new family. A home filled with all the love in the world. You better welcome her to her family. And I love this family. I love my da-da, ma-ma. Hartman this was the first child these parentsad ever fostered and they say as soon as they could adopt him they did. On any given day there are nearly 500,000 children waiting for families in this country for loving and adoptive families like this one. Guys. Beautiful story, Steve.
