Avocado smoothie recipe for National Avocado Day

Whether you're craving an avocado-based beverage this National Avocado Day or just looking to add a new green drink to your routine, this simple recipe has you covered.

Jackie of @Jackiesfooddiary on TikTok shared with "Good Morning America" her recipe for an avocado smoothie that's inspired by Kourtney Kardashian's own viral concoction.

The smoothie is rich in nutrients, including healthy fats, fiber and vitamins C, E and B6 from the avocado, and vitamin E, magnesium and fiber from the almond milk. The honey can also improve digestion, boost your immune system and provide energy.

Ingredients
1/2 ripe avocado, cubed
1 cup ice
1/2 cup vanilla almond milk (add more if smoothie is too thick after blending, and reblend)
1 scoop matcha powder
1 teaspoon MCT oil (optional for dietary preferences)
2 teaspoons honey

Directions

Add all ingredients into the blender and blend until desired thickness or consistency. If too thick, add more almond milk or non-dairy milk of choice.

Serve in glass and enjoy!
