We're back now with a colorful portrayal of what the word family really means, especially during pride month, as we all get ready to celebrate father's day, take a look at the new picture book inspired by a little girl with two dads. Happy birthday to you Make a wish. When we first started building up our library of children's books, we wanted to find some stories at least that spoke to our path which was we built our family through adoption. Most of them were not for gay couples. "Daddy and Dada" is a story told through roomy, our daughter a story of a family of all shapes and sizes and has pictures of every different walk of life illustrated by the great Lauren may. All of the different pictures in the book and combinations is those in our lives. When she saw the book the first time she was taken aback and then thought it was really cool. The actual clothes that she wears. Her actual bedroom. We were super excited when we found out that the book was coming out right in time for father's day, and for pride. I think for pride, even more so, because it's a moment where everyone comes together, just to celebrate individuality, love, and the beauty of just everyone on the planet, especially with, you know, all of the amazing milestones, the gay community has been able to accomplish over the past ten years, gay marriage wasn't legal when we were growing up. I didn't know really that it was possible to be considered, you know, a family on the block. In our neighborhood, that has two kids. Having a book like "Daddy and Dada" was really helpful for me at least that yes, we can do this, we can live the life that we want, that we know is true for ourselves. Where's daddy? Point to Dada. Point to Dada. Hi, I'm roomy. I'm four. How are you? I have two dads. Daddy and Dada. Daddy and Dada. We're a family, all five of us. One, two, three, four, five. Daddy, Dada, Xander. Some of my friends have one dad and one mom, some of my friends have one parent. Tell me about your family. Look, there's our book. See? We have a book. We've had talked so much about how important representation is and being able to see yourself reflected in things like this for children especially, this is beautiful, so "Daddy and Dada" is now available everywhere books are
