The post Christmas shopping season is here. Retailers pushing out big savings. Rebecca Jarvis joins us now. Good morning. Reporter: Good morning, whit. A lot of things have been different this year. One thing you can count on are post Christmas sales where the deals keep coming and some of the areas where you can find deep discounts right now are on clothing. Clothing sales up to 75% off. Discounts on top of clearance items at many of your favorite retailers. They're clearing out inventory like sweaters, winter coats, gloves. If you're in need of those items, it's a great time to stock up. Another area where you'll find terrific sales are on small gifts -- lotions and perfume and the small make-up gift sets, great things to have in the back of your closet. It's a great time to stock up on those. They are also 75% off. Also, toys, some of the hottest sellers go on sale now. So it's a great time to put them in the closet for birthday then the Christmas decorations, they always go on sale this time of year. It's the best time. You'll get the very biggest discount on wrapping paper right now. Perfect. I can get ready for next Christmas. Rebecca, any categories hot specifically because of the pandemic? Reporter: One area that's really benefited from the pandemic is at-home work out most gyms are closed. As a result people are using apps where you can get discounts and gym equipment at home. While that tends to go on in January when people make new year's resolutions, this year it's on sale right now and so are meal kits. If you are someone who would like to work with a subscription service to get delivered meals, now is a great time to buy meal kits. They'reffering discoun because they know people are staying home and in many places restaurants are not available. Can get a discount on that shake weight for the homework out? I want to ask you about holiday sales. Very different this year. Reporter: Very different and biggest difference is where the sales happen. Overall sales were up 3%, but online saw a 49% increase in sales whereas in stores saw a 10% decrease. I want to give a disclaimer here, whit. If you're shopping right now, the worst thing you can do is go into more credit card debt. While the deals are enticing, make sure you're in a position to purchase them and you really need these items and definitely don't go into debt to buy post Christmas sale items.
