Florida theme parks get social distancing, other guidelines for reopening
Here are some of the changes guests may see.
Proposed guidelines for reopening Florida theme parks, including Walt Disney World and Universal, were made earlier this week by a task force appointed by Orange County officials.

For Walt Disney World and Universal, a phased opening is recommended. Phase 1 would allow for 50 percent park capacity and phase two, 75 percent. At both phases, guests 65 and older are discouraged from attending.
Guidelines include tape marking six feet of distance between guests in attraction lines, touchless hand sanitizers at ticketing locations and ride entrances and exits, and the wiping down of railings and surfaces at every use.
Among the staff recommendations are face masks and temperature checks. Employees with a temperature over 100.4 would not be allowed on the premises.
The task force was announced on April 17. Its members include representatives from airports, restaurants, time shares, entertainment venues and theme parks.
Walt Disney World is closed until further notice. Universal is currently closed through May 31, 2020.
