Dec. 3, 2010 — -- Exactly six months after 7-year-old Kyron Horman was reported missing from his Oregon school, the boy's parents said they would never give up hope of finding their son.

"We recognize that it has now been six months since Kyron went missing, and we are still deeply saddened that he is not home with us," the boy's father, Kaine Horman, and birth mother, Desiree Young, said in a statement released Thursday before the semi-anniversary. "We would like to stress to everyone that Kyron has not yet been found and we need everyone's help. ... Kyron still needs all of us."

Kyron's parents also urged anyone traveling during the holidays to help out by passing out fliers, available at www.bringkyronhome.org, and to keep their eyes open for the boy who was last seen by his stepmother, Terri Horman, when he left for school June 4.

Terri Horman, who has not been named a suspect but who Kyron's parents believe was involved in the boy's disappearance, was the target of strong words from Young during an interview with "Good Morning America" in late August.

"You will go to jail, and whoever has been helping you, if they don't talk, they will go to jail," Young said. "I really believe that you want to do the right thing here and bring Kyron home."

Kaine Horman, has since filed for divorce, after being told that Terri Horman had allegedly tried to hire someone to kill him. Police have indicated that there are discrepancies in Terri Horman's account of what happened on the morning of June 4.

Terri Horman has remained steadfastly silent through most of the investigation, only releasing brief statements through her attorney that she did not have anything to do with Kyron's disappearance.

"I'm extremely angry," Young said. "I don't even know if I can communicate how angry I am."
