Carla Hall's Cheese Crisps
A Crisp and Savory Treat
Carla Hall and her co-hosts on "The Chew" share their ideas for making dinner meals quick, fun and delicious in their new cookbook, "The Chew: What's For Dinner?" Try Carla's take on classic cheese crisps.
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2) Shave long strips of cheese with a peeler, approximately 1 ½ inches by 3 inches.
3) Lay the cheese on a baking sheet lined with a silicone nonstick baking mat. Sprinkle with your choice of caraway seeds, black pepper, almonds, or sesame seeds. Or combine the ingredients to make your own unique cheese stick creations.
4) Bake for about 5-8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly and golden brown. Remove from the oven and let the cheese sticks cool until ready to handle.
