  • 1 bottle (48 oz) of Tomato or Vegetable Juice (I use Spicy Hot V-8)
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice and zest of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons of prepared horseradish like Gold's (more or less to taste)
  • 13 dashes Tabasco (more or less to taste)
  • 2 oz Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper (more or less to taste)
  • Vodka
  • Various garnishes such as: celery stalks, lemon and lime wedges, olives, pickled spicy beans, pickled asparagus, hot peppers, fresh cilantro, etc.
  • Cooking Directions

Combine all of the above in a container with a sealable lid and shake well.

Fill a tom collins glass with ice. Pour 1 1/2 ounce of vodka into the glass. Fill the rest of the glass with the Tomato juice mixture. Stir well and garnish with whatever you like.

To make a bloody mary bar: Put Tomato juice mixture into a pitcher. Place out for your guests along with a bottle of vodka, bucket of ice, and little bowls of the garnishes, along with glasses and a mixing spoon. Your guests can assemble their own cocktails however they'd like.
