ABC News' "Good Morning America" Wins Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Morning Program

GMA was honored for 'Outstanding Morning Broadcast' for second year in a row.

— -- ABC News' "Good Morning America" was honored with a Daytime Emmy Award during the 35th Annual Creative Arts and Entertainment Emmys in New York City, Friday, June 13. During the evening ceremony, "GMA" was recognized as Outstanding Morning Program for the second year in a row, beating out both NBC's "Today" and CNN's "American Morning" for the top nomination. ("Good Morning America" tied with the "Today" show last year.)

ABC News' "Good Morning America" is co-anchored by Diane Sawyer and Robin Roberts. Chris Cuomo is the news anchor and Sam Champion is the weather anchor. The morning news program airs live Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 9:00am/ET on the ABC Television Network. Jim Murphy is the senior executive producer and Tom Cibrowski is the executive producer of ABC News' "Good Morning America."
