Oct. 27, 2008 — -- "Good Morning America" anchor Robin Roberts is auctioning off the wig she wore for six months on the show as she underwent treatment for breast cancer.

Viewers have watched Robin as she battled the disease from the beginning. They saw her announce her diagnosis on-air in August 2007 and then watched as she courageously underwent treatment.

Supporters stood by her as she shaved her head after she began losing her hair to chemotherapy and then again when she decided to ditch her wig in favor of a natural look.

Now, she's hoping to give back with the wig's sale. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the auction will go toward The Bridge Breast Network, which provides services to low-income, uninsured breast cancer patients.

The auction will begin at 6 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Oct. 28 and will continue until Friday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m.
