Some dash cam video, mismisconduct cleared a new Jersey man facing years in prison and turned the tables on the officers who accused him. Sara Wallace from WABC brings this exclusive report. Get out the car. Get out. Reporter: This is the Bloomfield police department's dash cam video that prosecutors say they never saw when they pursued criminal charges against 30-year-old Marcus Jeter. Notice his hands in the air. He was charged with eluding police, resisting arrest and assault and also notice who throws repeated punches. Wabc obtained the dash cam video exclusively. The incident began when cops were called to the Bloomfield home he shares with his girlfriend. No charges were filed and Jeter says he left after briefly talking to officers. When they were behind me with the lights on I pulled right over. I wasn't trying to escape. Reporter: In a video from the first police car prosecutors did see Jeter stops on the side of the garden state parkway. The cops pull out guns. Why didn't you just get out of the car. Because I was afraid. There was a cop on my left with a gun pointed at me and one on my right side with a shotgun pointed. Reporter: The tape not inyiall turned over is on the dash of another police car, crosses the median into ongoing traffic and then strikes Jeter's car. There is no mention of that in any police report. The next thing I know, the glass gets busted. Get out the car! My hands are up. As soon as he opened the door one of the officers reached in and pumped me in mice face. He is like stop resisting arrest. Stop trying to take my gun. Stop resisting. Stop resisting. I'm not resisting. Why are you trying to Take my gun? When they opened the door he hits me in the head again. Reporter: As soon as prosecutors saw this they dismissed all charges. A grand jury indicted two of the police officers on various charges including conspiracy and official misconduct. One of them was also charged with aggravated assault. He pleaded not guilty. For "Good morning America," Sara Wallace, WABC TV, New York City. Some great digging there by Sara Wallace. She does some great reporting. If it had not been for the second dash cam video, who knows what -- Not justice. Get some weather from ginger.
