Deadly Salmonella outbreak in cantaloupe health officials are now racing to get the tainted fruit which has been found in twenty states off store shelves ABC's -- Rania. Has the latest details. The race is on to stop a deadly Salmonella outbreak. There at least 141. Cases so far in twenty states and two deaths in Kentucky. Authorities now believe they found the source cantaloupe from a farm in southwestern Indiana. The unnamed farm has agreed to stop shipping the melons and officials are scrambling to get them off store shelves. Wal-Mart has pulled cantaloupe grown in that region. But the government has yet to reveal the name of the suspected farm or where the tainted fruit is being sold so what should you do. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says if the Mellon come from southwestern Indiana throw it out. If you don't know where the Mellon was grown throw it out and if in doubt throw it out. Seek medical help if you experience diarrhea fever and abdominal cramps. This scare comes nearly a year after cantaloupe from Colorado caused an outbreak of listeria and killing. Thirty people in one of the deadliest food -- crises in decades. Bill Marla represents several of those victims.
