all right. Have you heard the news? Lara actually brakes for yard sales. Actually, as kathy griffin reminded us eloquently and rather dangerously yesterday. In her appearance she was throwing actual books to the audience. I tell you, if she had any sort of arm, she was sending people to the hospital. No, everybody is safe. Everybody is safe and there's pieces saved. We're joined by "good afternoon america" viewers who wrote us, asking me for advice -- yeah, were you right there by my side for all of these. For advice taking pieces of furniture who may have fallen on hard times, junk, transformed into furniture using easy, do-it-yourself tips. It was great. Yeah, you came over, you primed it -- I painted -- I supervised. So samantha mochel reached out to us, she said my future mother-in-law found this amazing table at a yard share, we're not sure what to do with it. We would love to turn this trash into treasure and use it at my engagement party coming up in september. Come on up, samantha. I'm going to be candid. This is exciting. This was an amazing table. This table is almost plywood. Turns out they were from sears. THEY ARE KITS FROM THE '70s. It was in really tough shape. We reglued it all. I don't know if you discovered it, this is actually a vanity table. We brought it back to its original function. Josh will do the honors. After all, the man works hard, at least he can do is, you know, take the blanket off. Oh, I love it! What you'll see, there's this fabric thing, I just fit a little cute fabric skirt. Then you put your little bench under it. I don't know if you knew, there's even a drawer inside that you would put your makeup and hang a little mirror above. Some tips if do you this, always on wood, use primer, very, very key. If you're going to use fabric, i suggest you use velcro, velcro tape is your friend, because you can change your mind. You can do this for your little girls down the road. you can put cocktails out and make it a bar? Yes, we're doing spiced apple cid cider. I figure we put it up here and put stuff underneath. I love it. Yeah, hey. You're welcome. There we go. So, gosh, I love this. This is a really beautiful -- this was our favorite? Yes, this was. On twitter, beverly davis from north carolina wrote in, saying, help me transform this little table, I brought it in england. Won is done with a london theme. Where are you, beverly? Come on out. So, beverly, this has a loose geg, the top was really tired. You said I could do whatever i wanted. You said you love all things england. Yes, our whole thing is done like that. We used to live there. And I saw this at a boot sale. Yard sale? Yes, paid 5 pounds for it which is $8 or $9. We want to bring a little bit of london back home to you to north carolina. Here's what I did. I hope you like it. I love it. Oh, good, I'm so glad. We painted it navy blue. We used painters tape. To create straight edges. Think of using table tops as a canvas to create art. Also make sure you cover it in glass to preserve your hard work. Straight edge tape is a fun way. In your case we did the union jack. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you, thank you. That's what we are, we're artists. Thank you. all right. We're going to save our last one, but we've run out of time, because -- it's sad, because that's the one I did. I assumed it was good.
