We've had so much fun these past two weeks. What a fortnight. The competitors felt the thrill of victory and the agony actually of victory, as well. Let's take a look back at the epic. The course was set and the competition ready to get after it. The road to glory paved with highs. Flying through the air and does win by a nose. And close. Lara, you got to keep the shoes on. In the inaugural snowshoeing event. Sasha Cohen the winner of our first competition. Day two's hockey shootout. It is the great "Gma" slapshot-off. Zon zone-zapping nail biter to the end. The day's events, hot curlers. Hot curlers? There was an olympic size cameo in curling as sage kotsenburg took on George stephanopoulos. George, George, George. It stopped. By day six the medal board was shaping up in Sasha Cohen's favor. Sasha Cohen has two left skates. No brake. And no brakes as she entered the speedskating challenge on top. I have tears of joy. Slow down. It was a thawdown throwdown for the ages. As rivalries heated up heading into day eight skate-tacular figure skating final. The pinnacle of sportsmanship and camaraderie reaching new heights, two weeks of history-making moments at the "Gma" games. Oh, there can be only one winner. We know who that is. Cue the anthem as we close our olympiad and Lara Spencer is joining us with five total medal, a bronze medal is your, Lara. That's not bad, Lara. We will see you four years hence, roses for the lovely lady, as well. Another bronze medal to Sara Haines. Come on in. Come on out. Come on. Great service to the cause. And it really did come down to two, by a hair, ginger zee with a silver medal. Come on and -- Magnificent. Come on over here. Come over here. And finally, there could be only one winner, not surprisingly, the actual olympian among us, Sasha Cohen. Come on. Eight total medals. The gold and she walks away. Thank you. Thank you. And also gives us a chance, Sasha, it's been so phenomenal having you. Was this truly the greatest athletic experience of your life. I miss competing so much that I think I found that I just like diving for things. Yes. So I -- this has been so fantastic and I'm competitive. Definitely. Bloodied and unbowed, a champion. All champions today.
