aniston exudes a sense of self-confidence we rarely see. Constantly in the spotlight and hounded by the press, america's sweetheart takes that pressure in stride. But this morning, confessions from the star herself how she FELT IN THE 30s. You can't buy me. Reporter: She's one of hollywood's biggest movie stars. A red carpet darling. And a style icon. In a new interview, we are learning that jennifer aniston secretly lived with insecurity, while the rest of the world were adoring her own "friends." There were some people that said I looked like a floating angel. Reporter: The now 44-year-old ACTRESS CALLED HER 30s, MY Awkward phase. And said, I'm a little of a late bloomer. It's a sentiment that aniston echoed when she spoke with amy robach a few months ago. I feel great. I've been much better shape, feel better than I ever did in MY 20s, FOR SURE. Reporter: Aniston, who does appear to be defying time, also dished about her signature locks, including her recent decision to go short. I'm loving it right now, she says. We were at a photo shoot the other day. And I just said, let's chop it off. It was within of those moments. I love doing something different and changing it up. Her favorite celebrity locks belong to supermodel gisele bundchen. Admitting she puts serums in her hair because she tries not to wash it every day. And her secret to looking and feeling good, is simply being in love. Telling "parade," I feel most beautiful when I'm just home with justin theroux in the morning. Or anytime of day I'm with him. Even though she likes her hair, she's partial to long hair. And something else she said in this interview which I thought was interesting. When she's flipping channels and she comes across a "friends" episode, she stops to watch. That must be awkward. I wondered that. Reporter: Do you watch or not? It's on all the time. Insecure a decade? I mean, okay. Reporter: We all have them, right? I guess. Pretty broad. Thank you, bianna. Now, to the diet soda story.
