Because it is princess diana's or would be her 52nd birthday. Abc's lama hasan has the story from london. Reporter: The world has been captivated by their love affair and now all eyes are on kate. In just days, she and william will welcome the country's next heir. Kate following in diana's footsteps, the comparisons are inevitable. Diana, the most photographed woman in the world and now glamorous kate has become a star and charitable icon in her own right. And as she prepares to give birth, kate will undoubtedly take a cue from the way princess diana raised william. She will want to bring their child up to have the sail -- some of the same values that william had. Diana was really a fabulous mother. Reporter: Diana was a whole new type of royal.
