We all were blown away by Octavia Spencer's Oscar winning role in the help. And she's now starring in "Red band society." Take a look. New phone. Yeah. Jealous much? Don't you ever press this call button again, you understand? You know what happens to patients who cry wolf? We sell their organs for cash on the black market and split the money. You don't scare me. You're a loser nurse who rides the bus. Got to go make some calls. And joining us now, just before we got on camera, welcome. My girls are excited bout this. The tween set is all afire for this. Tell us about it. I can understand it. There are quite a few cute boys and girls in this show. I understand a little bit why they're into this show. But it is a -- a coming of age story. And it's set in a world-class theatrics hospital and follows a group of teen who is like to break the rules a little bit. And I play their nurse ratchet, who keeps them all in line. And, you know, viola Davis, co-star in the help with you, how to get away with murder here on ABC. And it does seem that a lot of movie stars like Ya'll are choosing to come to television because the characters can be so rich. They are so rich. And I love that there is so much more for women to do in television. And the roles are definitely, for me, definitely more challenging than what I have been doing in films. So that's fun. You get to reach back to your past. You started out as a nurse in "A time to kill." With Sandra bullock, Matthew mcconaughey, and Sam Jackson. And here I am, 20 years later, playing a nurse. But I love the story of how you got your start. You have been Reading as a P.A. In many films, but Joel Schumacher didn't ask you to read. That got to you. Yes, everybody director I had ever worked with wanted me to audition. And Joel didn't. Why don't you want me to audition? I need to be able to turn you down. And then I begged him to audition, and then I wanted to be this woman who started a riot. He said, no, your face is too sweet. You can be sandy's nurse. Started my career. That's a very good Joel, by the way. You're doing red band society, what else? Black and white, a film that I did with Kevin Costner. I'm really excited about that. But Wednesday night I get to be with my cast mates to watch the premier of "Red band society." That is on fox. Thanks very much. Thank you. Good to have you back here.
