Every year we see the picture, annual pageant of the running of the bulls in pamplona, spain, immortalized by ernest hemingway coming to america and not everybody is pleased. Abc's aditi roy has more. Reporter: It's epic. It's death defying and now the running of the bulls is coming to you. A great bull run inspired by the story pamplona arrives in richmond, virginia. Organizers are holding events in georgia, texas, florida, california, minnesota, illinois and pennsylvania. The event first came to cave creek, arizona, in 2008. I feel great. I had my adrenaline rush. Reporter: The rues are pretty simple. 24 bulls will be released in three groups. You wait for the buts to get close to you and then run for your life literally. They'll be released through a chute in a crowd of hysterical participants, some will slip. Some can fall and break their leg. Reporter: The humane society's john goodwin finds bull running boarish saying it's too risky for the bulls and runners. We do not need to put animals in harm's way for entertainment. Reporter: Organizers I have that's bull. According to their website they say "we don't kill the bull in a bull fight, nor do we abuse them in any way" and unlike the narrow streets of pam problem that, they will use coping to allow participants to dodge the bulls more easily in this's not going to run because they're happy or content. They're running because they're scared for their lives. All runners gather in the arena. Reporter: The great bull run's organizers say 5,000 daredevils have signed on making the organizers feel bullish about bringing pam problplona to the u.S. They're going to bring the great tomato fight they also have has part of the bull run. They'll bring that to the united states. They could have kept that all in spain. Not here. Fair enough.
