To the fight against ebola, president Obama heading to the centers for disease control in Atlanta this afternoon, expanding the American intervention to help control the outbreak. And Dr. Richard Besser has been on the ground in Africa. You were calling on the president to call in the military. That's exactly what's happen. This is important and hopefully get this under control. The U.S. Is setting up a command center in Liberia, having a general in charge, and engineers to build treatment centers, and a training center to train as many as 500 every week. More troops than are in Iraq. There's something missing, not American doctors treating patients. This is what worries me. When this outbreak started, there were 50 doctors in Liberia. They are going to train 500 health care workers, where are they coming from? You have to treat patients to come into the treatment center and get out of the community. President Obama calling it a national security priority, explain why it is. An unstable west Africa is dangerous for the U.S. The longer it's out there, the more chance to mutate. Right now you have to be in direct contact with a patient. But if the virus changes and can spread through the air, everyone is at risk including those in America. It could do that.
