Thank you for keep your eyes on the road. Hundreds of flights cancel canceled, hundreds of delays. This is flights early in the day. Kerr Ke David Kerley is at the busiest airport. Reporter: Good morning. We are at the delta tower. And they are heading out there later today. The folks in the tower have not added cancellations. There are delays in the Washington area and further north. And they are keeping a close eye on that storm. This morning some passengers are already home, refuses to chance the weather. The weather, I just changed my flight. Reporter: Airlines waving ticket change fees, hoping to move as many passengers as possible before the storm. It was smart, before the day started, 200 flights were canceled. Three hours to scramble and get her. It's been fun. Reporter: Fun is not what the thousands of airline workers are expecting today. Here in delta's Atlanta tower, they make sure aircraft are ready to go. They know that northeast storm will reach down here on one of the busiest travel days of the year. It all comes together with the training and -- that we have. That's where it's a test of our mettle. Reporter: It's not just the weather, it's a challenge to get the bag home. Here in Atlanta, they have 40 miles of conveyor belts, and today, an extra 10,000 bags. And an extra 20,000 bag on Sunday, the busiest travel day of the year for delta. There is a little bit of good news. And that is they're expecting a little less snow up in the northeast. That could mean fewer cancellations. At least that's the hope. Everybody here is hoping to get everybody home for Thanksgiving. So is everyone in our family.
