Transcript for More Tornadoes Touch Down in Nebraska
Latest on the tornadoes slamming the midwest two of them touching down in Nebraska late last night. Causing a lot of damage and tracking it all force in -- more violent weather now in the forecast. For a really big swath of the country today -- and remember this is our last day of -- Josh so let's have new details on new violent storms in this. I guess we'll called -- winter severe storm season. We know that there have been about ninety reports of severe weather in the last 24 hours in eight states in -- -- those tornadoes touching down in that some of those areas particularly around. Nebraska on -- Oklahoma let's show you a funnel cloud and Oklahoma taken from Storm -- last night you can see that -- these storms are rolling abroad across the plains. These are very powerful thunderstorms and it is likely that they will kick up again today as this cold front moves right into the middle the country. The area that is likely to see the most tornadic activity is this part of southern Oklahoma all the way through central Texas Dallas you're part of it. Houston you're just outside of -- but San Antonio's apart now in this area and read -- be some very strong storms some very heavy rain we come back we'll deal with all those rainfall totals. Strong gusty winds all of that is well. And we've got more record heat coming today this last day of winter.
