smells with valerie bertinelli. She is as busy as ever with "hot in cleveland." And now, this cookbook, "one dish at a time." Tell me about "hot in cleveland." We're having so much fun. We've shot about six shows so far. We have a lot of fun. It seems like you have so much fun together. Yet, you found time to write a cookbook and put this together. We have to show you the great shot of you in the jennie craig commercial. Here we are. There it is. You lost all that weight. Look fabulous. Thank you. I just had that suit on sunday. One of the ideas behind this book is you're mixing up healthy food and comfort food. The way that people eat. Sometimes we're in a healthy mood. Sometimes we're in an indulgent mood. I don't think you should deny yourself anything. If you keep the portions in control. If you start obsessing about a food you can't have, one of the -- you're going to eventually go crazy on it. Let's start with indulging with pumpkin pancakes. I had left overpuover pumpkin mix. I have a lot of syrup on that. It's good. This is a healt soup. This is supereasy, too. We grill our chicken a lot during the week. We'll always have grilled chicken in there. He's getting some. It's really good. It's supereasy. And all you need to do is take -- I think the vegetables have already been precooked. And you just put a little blanch on them for a couple minutes. And boiling water. Salt and water. Celery and zucchini. And a little bit of barley. That's good for you. And put them over top. It's just chicken stock? This is low-sodium, nonfat chicken stock. And you have a healthy meal. And the turkey meatloaf is inspired by my son. I like to be around when he's doing his homework. He is 21 now and touring europe. I would make him sit in the kitchen at the kitchen table. And I would be cooking. I could make sure he was doing his homework and getting everything done. On every thursday, we would have me meatloaf. And the recipes come from all over. Your childhood. You actually had a recipe from your former mother-in-law? There's a couple of recipes that mrs. Van halen taught me. There's a lot of italian in the cookbook. But mainly family and recipes that I've learned from the women I love in my life. The pancakes, it's supple. Is it just pancake mix? You don't need pancake mix?
