Liver Cancer

If you are an adult with cancer confined to the liver (hepatocellular carcinoma) that is not suitable for surgical removal, you may be eligible to participate in this study.

Epilepsy

Person between the ages of 16 and 75 years who have both inclusive, well-characterized focal epilepsy or epileptic syndrome may be eligible for this study.

Other requirements include having at least 2 --and not exceeding 40 -- partial onset seizures, whether or not they are secondarily generalized per 4 weeks during the 8-week baseline period; being on a stable dose of at least 1 but no more than 2 concomitant AEDs with the second AED 50 percent of the minimum recommended maintenance dose.

Women's Health

Menopausal women between the ages 45 and 55 may qualify for this study if they have either more than 4 hot flashes each day or no hot flashes at all.
