What you should remember to do is, as you feel the faint coming on -- like when you've been standing for too long -- is to tighten the muscles of your leg. Try your best to sit down or lie down wherever you are. It's important not to be embarrassed and just remember this is a tendency that some people have. Preferably, if you can lie down and have someone put something under your feet, almost always you can prevent a true loss of consciousness or a complete faint.
