Are There Any Effective Herbal Treatments For Prostate Cancer?

Answer: So I'm asked about herbal supplements for prostate cancer a lot by patients. And so when you ask me that sort of question, I sit here and think about effective and herbal treatments and I really can't say that there really are known data that sort of puts those two together.
There are a lot of herbal supplements that have been tested, tried, evaluated in prostate cancer. Most of them are natural estrogens, plant estrogens that patients can take in natural supplements, which have had some benefit in terms of improving urinary flow rate, improving PSAs, but nothing that's really been effective enough that sort of carries a label "effective for prostate cancer."
