Who Is This Puffy-Faced Star?

Kelly Ripa confessed to Elle magazine that she gets the occasional Botox injection. "Every seven months or so my eyelid skin rests on my eyelashes," she said. "So I feel like it makes my makeup artist's life easier, and it makes my eyes look a little more open on TV, which is where I happen to work right now." The host also said she gets Botox in her armpits to avoid sweating.

Kim Kardashian Bruised From Botox

Kardashian, however, has tried cosmetic injections at least once. Last September, she wrote on her blog that though she "freaked out" at the immediate results of the Botox procedure she received on her E! show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," shown here in a photo obtained from YouTube, the bruises around her eyes were not the signs of a "botched job." Kardashian receives Botox injections into the side muscles of her eyes -- a cosmetic use of the neurotoxin that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has not yet approved.

"Melrose Place" actress Lisa Rinna let cameras into the operating room as she got a lip reduction on her reality show "Harry Loves Lisa." "She could look weird for the rest of her life," admitted Rinna's husband Harry Hamlin when she got the stitches removed after the lip reduction. Rinna acknowledged last year that she owed her infamously plumped-up pout to the silicone injections she had in 1986. She told People magazine that she had her upper lip surgically reduced partially because of public reaction to her lip-boosting decision, which she described as overwhelmingly negative.

Supermodel Cindy Crawford, shown in 1999, left, and again in November 2009, right, seems to be getting younger looking with age … perhaps that's thanks to Botox injections. As reported in the Daily Mail, "There's a doctor here in London who I've gone to for Botox. I did a whole skin care line with him. But I haven't done Botox for 10 years. And I didn't do collagen, I don't think," Crawford shared with Mail on Sunday columnist Piers Morgan. The full article will appear in an upcoming GQ.

Known for her "posh lifestyle," Victoria Beckham seems to have downsized something recently -- reportedly a breast augmentation. According to the British Sun, she had her breast implants removed about a month ago, going down from a busty 34DD to a more natural 34B cup bra size. "She felt that was part of her old WAG image -- the big hair, big boobs and fake tan -- and that she has moved on since those days." Beckham's rep has declined to comment on the matter.

Teri Hatcher

Actress Teri Hatcher admitted to trying Botox injections on "Oprah" in March 2006. "You know, like that thing where you just feel so yucky about yourself...and I went to a dermatologist and I'm like, `I'm just so tired, look how tired, I'm so tired.' And she said, `Do your Botox.'" The star went on to say she has cut back to look more natural. She said, "For me, the reason I don't do it is because I just don't want to put weird things in my body. And also, you know what? I'm not 25 and I would like to stop having to try to look like I'm 25. And I think, you know, being at 41, I feel like I want to embrace my inner beauty more than what's going on out here."

Mickey Rourke

Once a celebrated sex symbol, actor Mickey Rourke is hardly recognizable these days. The actor turned to a plastic surgeon in an effort to unscramble his face after years of punches and pummelling in the boxing ring in the 1990s. He has admitted, "I went to a certain kind of doctor. I believed it would make things different." He told Entertainment Weekly in an Oct. 31, 2008 article, "When I was boxing I had six nose operations, I had cartilage taken from behind my ear, I had short-term memory loss, I've got an equilibrium problem, I don't have as many teeth in my head as I used to."

Kenny Rogers

Singer Kenny Rogers says he regrets going under the knife. The 71-year-old told the National Enquirer in 2008, "I'm the plastic surgery king. I'm a bionic man! Every part of my body has been scooped or something at one time. I kind of wish I hadn't done it. Looking back at some pictures of myself, my eyes were a lot warmer than they are now, and I miss that. They have settled in a lot and they're not as bad as they were right after surgery." He adds, "I didn't want to be an old man with this young girl. I didn't want to look like an old man. As you go through life, you make choices. Some are good, some are bad."

Aging Naturally or With a Lil' Help?

Comedian and TV host Joan Rivers has been candid and unapologetic about getting a little -- or a lot -- of help in combating nature. Her surgically altered face became fodder for a Geico commercial, in which she says, "Am I smiling? I can't tell." Rivers, pictured at left in the 1960s, has certainly warded off more than a few wrinkles from her 64-year-old face, pictured at right earlier this month.

Serrano was arrested in 2004 and charged with importing and distributing a combination of synthetic collagen and tiny solid beads, which was not approved by the FDA, People magazine reported at the time. Presley's rep added in the statement, "Ms. Presley dealt with this matter years ago and everything is now well." Dr. Serrano was sentenced to 18 months in jail in 2006.

"American Idol" judge Simon Cowell revealed in the April 2008 issue of Glamour U.K. that he dabbles in a little Botox to keep his brooding good looks. Cowell doesn't see the crime in having a little help to stop hands of time's effects on his face. "To me, Botox is no more unusual than toothpaste," the cutthroat judge told the magazine. Cowell seems to have changed very little since he began as an "American Idol" judge, pictured at left in 2002 and at right in 2008.
