Kate Knocks Lady Gaga From Top Perch

February 9, 2011 -- What are the two most important words at Fashion Week right now? Not "Lady Gaga" anymore -- "Kate Middleton" has knocked the mega pop star off her spangled perch. A new survey from the Global Language Monitor says the future princess is having an "uncommon effect" on the fashion world, with her name topping the list of the most-searched fashion phrases.

Staying with fashion -- the Reiss dress that Kate plucked from her own closet for her official engagement shot with the Prince is now back on the rack for the public to buy. Dubbed the "Nannette," the dress is being re-released by the British brand and is already flying out the door.

Whether Kate dons a wedding dress creation by Reiss, rumored pick Bruce Oldfield, or another British designer, viewers glued to their sets around the globe won't be able to see the gown in 3-D -- even though British broadcasters staged a mock ceremony using the new technology. The Palace and the couple reportedly ruled out the high-tech filming because there's just not enough room at the Abbey with all the guests expected to RSVP yes to the big day!
